ATP is your leading independent access hire company
We have been supplying access platforms for rental, nationwide for over 25 years.
The History of ATP Access Hire
ATP was founded in 1994 by Simon Richards while working for Cold Storage and Logistics firm, Christian Salvesen Based on the concept of a solution, “involving a machine” – as opposed to simply “owning a machine”
This placed the business on a value trajectory firmly based on offering the customer an “off your desk” solution – contract out your problem, let us sort out the solution.
In 1997, after much support from Christian Salvesen, the business became a limited company and a full time commitment.
It was tumultuous, shifting from industrial equipment hire from a small depot in Peterborough, through small plant and construction equipment to the relatively new “powered access” rental industry.
Matt Duxbury joined the business in 2018 with a view to growing the business further and retaining the beliefs of ensuring the customer is central to all ATP strives for moving forward.
